Painting with Pixels of Light

First of all, thank you for checking out my website.  From a young age, I have always been drawn to artistic expression and the many ways that we can create something beautiful from the mundane.  Over the years, I have studied everything from painting and drawing to sculpture, ceramics, and architecture.  But none of these art forms lit my passion on fire quite like photography!  

Creating a photographic image is all about capturing light.  With a background in engineering, I am fascinated by light and the science behind how it behaves.  And as a self-described "geek", I love working with all of the camera equipment, lighting tools, technology, and gear that you get exposed to in the field of photography.
